Ascension: Eternal

An introductory two-player version of a deck-building game set in a fantasy conflict between factions. Players use a currency of Runes to acquire new cards into their deck and a resource of Power to defeat monsters from a shared central lineup. Six cards from the central deck are revealed and available for purchase; when a card leaves the board it is replaced from the deck. Cards purchased add to a player’s deck and may provide Runes, Power, or immediate and ongoing effects. Victory points (Honor) come from purchased cards, defeated monsters, and certain cards that grant points when played.
