Scenarios range from short actions to a 10-turn campaign, with an order-of-battle based on detailed research and modular setups for different start points. A distinctive midgame mechanic forces the Axis to randomly select an objective, shaping victory conditions and limiting precommitment of forces. Play emphasizes maneuver, tempo, and handling of fractured command and limited formation resources.
