Blaster (d20 Microlite Edition)

A rules-light hard science-fiction roleplaying game inspired by classic space opera. Players create larger-than-life heroes such as former corporate marines, star pilots, traders, engineers, and fugitives, then pursue missions involving ancient technology, rogue artificial intelligence, alien couriers, orbital casinos, and rim pirates. The system uses simple, internally consistent mechanics and supports a setting of small starships, dangerous frontiers, and independent crews. Its detailed background can be adapted to other science-fiction universes or used as the foundation for an original campaign.
