Capital Lux 2: Generations

Players draft and play character cards each round, deciding whether to place them in a personal home base for points or contribute them to a central capital to trigger special powers. The capital's active powers are modular and can be swapped to create different setups, producing a large number of unique power combinations to alter tactical choices. At the end of each round, any color in a player’s home base that exceeds the capital’s total for that color causes those cards to be lost. After three rounds, remaining cards in home bases score points, so players must balance point accumulation against the risk of overreaching given the current capital powers.
