Carcassonne: Klöster in Deutschland

A mini-expansion replaces the standard monastery tiles with six new tiles, each depicting a different German monastery. Players still place a follower on a monastery tile as usual to claim it; a surrounded monastery scores when eight adjacent tiles complete it. A new option lets players lay the follower on its side to mark it as an abbot. Abbot followers remain until game end and then score one point for the monastery plus one point for each tile connected in straight rows and columns radiating from it. Artwork varies among versions while rules remain the same.
