Carnival of Machines

A neo-noir murder investigation begins with a tragic car crash involving three magically connected Rifts at a Downtown junction. Players trace the victims’ relationships and uncover whether the events were coincidence or part of a deliberate scheme. The investigation then shifts into a series of comic-book-style death traps set by a Rift mastermind targeting the crew and others like them. An NPC named Goldie is also caught in the unfolding events, with her fate determined by the players’ actions.
