Commands & Colors: Ancients Expansion Pack #2 – Rome vs the Barbarians

This expansion for a historical battle system focuses on conflicts between Imperial Rome and various Barbarian forces. More than 20 scenarios cover battles from the Gallic invasion in 390 BC through the Teutoburg Forest in 9 AD, including the Servile War, Caesar’s conquest of Gaul, and the Roman Civil Wars. The expansion includes the blocks and labels needed for Roman and Barbarian armies, along with new and specialized units such as Briton chariots, pilum-armed legionaries, and historical leaders including Caesar. Command cards introduce uncertainty and tactical opportunities, while battle dice resolve combat quickly. Scenarios typically play to completion in less than an hour.
