A Call of Cthulhu scenario set in the Kingdom of Sweden in 1351, where the Black Death has ravaged the land for a year. Learned men search the stars for answers, while desperate people seek forgiveness through scourging and fire, and rumors of the approaching Judgment Day spread. Players take the roles of Cistercian monks from Francia traveling to visit their order’s daughter monastery. Along the way, they hear of a miracle at Gudsberga Abbey in Dalarna, where angels are said to have cured the local plague victims overnight. Investigating this claim leads them into a world of religious fervor, suffering, and hidden horrors.
