Down In Flames: Poland 1939

This module covers the German invasion of Poland in September 1939, the first major demonstration of Blitzkrieg. German panzer divisions and Luftwaffe support rapidly penetrate Polish defenses, while the Polish army and air force struggle to resist. The Soviet attack from the east on September 17 further undermines Poland’s position. As part of the Down in Flames series, it uses card-driven rules to simulate World War II air combat. It requires the base game from Rise of the Luftwaffe.
