Dungeon Robbers from Outer Space

An old-school tabletop role-playing game for a referee and one or more players. Characters are alien astronauts who travel to primitive worlds in search of magic items for study by their scientific academy. The spaceship remains in orbit while the crew beams down to explore the planet’s surface, using only a small selection of advanced gadgets that locals cannot reverse-engineer. Existing fantasy role-playing adventures can be adapted to these rules, with characters returning to orbit at the end of each session to report their findings.
