Federation & Empire: Strategic Operations

Players command interstellar forces and manage logistics across contested sectors of space. The game introduces specialized units—hospital ships, survey vessels, engineers, diplomats, small transports and new combat classes—and adds sector and operational bases for layered defense and forward projection. Gameplay combines strategic movement, fleet composition and resource management: players build defenses, move personnel and materiel, conduct surveys to locate funds, negotiate or delay conflict through diplomacy, and deploy operations to press advantages. Components include multiple sheets of counters and a ruleset, and a scenario provides a focused operational challenge.
