Festung Budapest

A tactical module covering the siege fighting on the Buda side of Budapest in January–February 1945. Players command German, Hungarian, and Soviet forces across urban maps, resolving street fighting, assaults on fortified positions, and limited air support through scenario-driven tactical campaigns. Seventeen standalone scenarios and three linked campaign games recreate specific actions, with counters for SS, Hungarian infantry variants (including SMG units, assault engineers, Arrow Cross militia, Vannay Battalion, and pro‑Soviet volunteers), Soviet formations, and air units. Includes four large maps, nine countersheets, and a rules chapter; requires the Advanced Squad Leader system to play.
