Fighting Formations: Grossdeutschland Division's Battle for Kharkov

A tactical wargame simulating early 1943–early 1944 fighting around Belgorod and Kharkov, focusing on the actions of the Grossdeutschland formation and opposing Soviet forces. Players command platoons, tanks and support units across a series of ten scenarios that recreate counterattacks, delaying actions, localized assaults and counteroffensives. Gameplay uses multiple maps and counters to represent unit movement, combat, reinforcements and supply, with scenario-specific objectives, historical orders of battle and period equipment such as Tigers, PzIII variants, T‑34s, SU tank destroyers and anti‑tank guns. Scenarios vary in scale and length, emphasizing maneuver, timing of reinforcements and control of key roads, towns and river crossings as supply and line integrity shape each engagement.
