A boxed campaign setting for first-edition fantasy roleplaying, presenting the Forgotten Realms through player and Dungeon Master books. The player’s book details the known regions, cities, notable people, and other locations, supported by maps. The Dungeon Master’s book explains how to run a campaign in the setting, convert existing characters, and use setting-specific rules. It also includes two introductory mini-adventures and references to magical texts and their contents. Four full-color maps cover the wider lands and several important areas.
