Players take on the role of Elizabethan sea captains seeking treasure and fame on a transatlantic route toward the Aztec and Incan empires. The expansion increases Spanish naval and fortification strength by replacing the base Spanish troops and frigates with tougher units and stronger admirals. It integrates into the core game’s mission-driven campaign, adding more challenging naval encounters and fortified ports that alter strategic movement and combat decisions as players complete their objectives.
