Players take turns over nine rounds to dig patterns from a roll-determined set of polyomino shapes and mark them on a personal mine sheet. Each turn involves rolling to reveal available dig patterns, selecting and placing a chosen pattern to collect gem icons, and applying special resources—oil for extra digs and natural gas to reserve future patterns. Scoring rewards efficient coverage of rows and columns, gathering gems around boulders, and meeting pattern-specific conditions. Multiple mine sheets and roll templates offer variety, and games run about 15–30 minutes.
