Ghosts of Christmas

Players compete in three simultaneous trick piles representing past, present, and future. Each round begins with bidding on how many tricks each player expects to win, then players take turns playing cards to any of the three numbered spaces on their personal mat. The first card played to a space sets the suit for that trick; subsequent plays must follow that suit on that space or be placed on a different space. Tricks resolve according to who is leading each pile rather than play order, and winners collect points based on whether their bid matches actual tricks won. The game is played over multiple hands equal to the number of players, and the highest scoring player with the most wreaths at the end wins.
