Giochi di ruolo - Estetica e immaginario di un nuovo scenario giovanile

This book examines role-playing games as a form of youth culture, exploring their aesthetics, imagery, and educational value. It describes how players portray characters and act within imaginary worlds, from settings featuring dragons, warriors, magicians, and elves to more everyday scenarios shaped by collective imagination. Written by an aesthetics scholar and an educator who works with teenagers, it considers the social and personal dimensions of play, including how game dynamics can encourage self-understanding. It also discusses the development of role-playing from face-to-face sessions to computer-based forms, with a preface by Luca Giuliano.
