GURPS Power-Ups 7: Wildcard Skills

This supplement expands the rules for wildcard skills in GURPS, providing more than 65 published examples for action-oriented characters. Wildcard skills can replace groups of standard skills, supporting cinematic characters with broader areas of expertise and simpler character sheets. It explains how wildcard skills interact with attributes, defaults, bonuses, techniques, and penalties, and offers guidance for creating new skills based on concepts, breadth, martial-arts styles, and supernatural abilities. Optional rules cover combining wildcards, improving critical successes, granting broader bonuses, and influencing the story. Campaign guidance ranges from using no wildcard skills to making them the foundation of play.
