GURPS Thaumatology: Chinese Elemental Powers

This supplement presents Chinese elemental magic based on the five xing—wood, fire, earth, metal, and water—and their cycles of creation and destruction. It provides more than 60 elemental abilities and 20 perks, ranging from summoning fog to influencing the heart’s fire, along with rules for using Talent, Meditation, and the Focus technique to strengthen them. Expanded advantages, disadvantages, skills, and noncombat practices such as Alchemy, Esoteric Medicine, Fortune-Telling, and Herb Lore support character creation. It also explains the roles of qi, yin and yang, and xing in Chinese culture for campaigns involving martial artists, historical fantasy, or modern supernatural conflicts.
