Hail Caesar: Shield Wall

A supplement for mass-battle wargaming, covering the conflicts, armies, and leaders of the British Isles during the Dark Ages, from around 400 to 1000 AD. It includes army lists for Romano-British, Saxon, Welsh, Irish, Pictish, Gaelic, Viking, Irish-Norse, and Limitanei forces. Alongside rules for traditional massed battles, the supplement introduces smaller-scale engagements between warbands, campaign rules, and linked scenarios based on battles such as Badon Hill and Brunaburh.
