A detailed, realistic, system-neutral setting for medieval fantasy role-playing campaigns. The overview covers Hârn’s cultures, governments, economics, history, and other features, with campaign aids for generating weather and character backgrounds. A regional map covers an area of approximately 620 × 930 miles (1,000 × 1,500 km). Its specialized cartographic system uses colors and textures to indicate vegetation and terrain, supporting campaigns involving characters from many walks of life, including nobles, knights, merchants, craftsmen, mercenaries, and peasants.
