Hidden Games Crime Scene: The New Haven Case

A team-based investigative game in which players take on the roles of private detectives probing a suspicious death at a village folk festival. Players examine documents, study fingerprints, review police interviews, check alibis and motives, and assemble findings on a central poster. The investigation requires making phone calls, receiving text messages, and using internet research; a phone is required and a laptop or tablet is helpful. Sessions run about 1.5–3 hours but can be paused and resumed. Play is cooperative and best for ages 14 and up, with younger children able to assist in a mixed-age group.
