Mercenary Second Edition

A Traveller supplement focused on mercenary careers and ground-based warfare. Players recruit squads, platoons, companies, and armies; take characters through university and military careers; and accept contracts through a ticket system. Rules cover mass combat, firearms, destructive weapons, artillery and orbital strikes, vehicles, bulk weapon purchases, fortifications, sieges, and assaults. The revised combat systems support battles between large forces while remaining comparable in speed to individual character encounters.
