Myrkdag (Midgard 5th Edition)

A haunted-house adventure with an interwoven crime story for 2–4 player characters of levels 3–10. The setting is a guesthouse and healer’s house on a quiet road in Ywerddon, near Almhuin, though it can be moved elsewhere in Vesternesse. The adventure unfolds over four days, from the characters’ arrival until the night of the new moon. Inspired by melodramatic films, it features eccentric characters, strange scenes, repeated murder attempts, and warnings of impending disaster. Beyond the opening, conclusion, and attacks, events are not fixed, allowing the characters’ actions to shape an atmosphere where natural and supernatural explanations become difficult to distinguish. Tools for the Game Master support suspense, confusion, and a final revelation.
