Rooms & Encounters: The Crucifixion Chamber

A small, symmetrical chamber lies beyond an arched stairwell, its rune-marked walls and basalt steps washed in a dull green glow. At its center, a raised dais supports a weeping, hound-headed humanoid statue fitted with cruel torture devices above a transparent glass floor. This dungeon-based encounter presents a single room from a vast underworld of traps, monsters, and villainous strongholds. It can be added to an existing dungeon without requiring the larger dungeon setting.
