Shadows of Brimstone: Valley of the Serpent Kings

Players assume roles as a band of Spanish Conquistadors exploring a fallen Spanish fort and the murky swamps of a cursed OtherWorld. Characters include archetypes such as a commanding captain, a hardy soldier with heavy crossbow, an agile duelist, and an intrepid explorer, each developing skills and equipping artifacts as the campaign advances. Gameplay combines cooperative, scenario-based dungeon crawling with tactical miniature combat, modular map tiles, and encounter cards. Parties face new foes—waterlogged revenants, ranged Serpentmen archers, brutish temple guards, large reptilian beasts and dangerous swamp flora—while navigating region-specific world abilities, collecting resources, and resolving mission objectives across the Valley of the Serpent Kings.
