The Chained Coffin

A whispered voice from a chained coffin draws adventurers into the Shudder Mountains, where the secluded Deep Hollows conceal forgotten mysteries and a rising evil. The party explores the mountains, confronts witches, devils, spirits, and other threats, and seeks to stop a new terror before it takes hold. The adventure features a supernatural door with three interconnected symbol dials, presented as a player handout and solved as a central puzzle. Additional uses for the spinning-wheel mechanism provide further puzzles and magic items, and a bonus first-level adventure sends the party against a rat-devil cult corrupting a village.
