The Cure for Evil

The heroes arrive in the Imperial Capital during an undead attack and help cleanse the outer district. After meeting Gensai, a dwarf Scout and questor of Twoo, they pursue the fugitive wizard Jurou Urameshii, who has taken child prisoners and is fleeing toward a hidden airship dock. The journey leads across dangerous mountain paths, through a remote village, and to Urameshii’s hidden retreat. There, the heroes face alchemically altered ghouls and other creatures before confronting the wizard. After the battle, one or more characters contract a terminal illness, and Urameshii offers the cure in exchange for his freedom.
