The Great Battles of Alexander

Four historical encounters from Alexander’s campaigns are presented, recreating Chaeronea, Granicus, Issus and Gaugamela. Players command opposing forces on hex maps and resolve combat with a system that emphasizes weapon and armor matchups and maneuver over sheer numbers. Each battle can be played as a standalone scenario or linked into a campaign, with maneuver, formation and combined-arms considerations driving decision-making. Combat results reflect tactical advantages in equipment and positioning rather than unit count alone.
