The March of Progress

Scenario-based historical mini-wargame for two players. Players control countries by simultaneously selecting and revealing action cards such as Move, Attack, and Recruit, then carry out the chosen actions. Cards remain discarded until the Score card is played, returning all previously used cards to hand. Victory points are earned by controlling countries during scoring, and the player with the most points at the end wins. An introductory Thirty Years’ War scenario teaches the core rules, while four additional scenarios cover the Age of Marlborough, the Napoleonic Wars, World War I in the West, and World War II in the West. Each scenario modifies the setup and rules to reflect its historical period.
