The Napoleonic Wars (Second Edition)

Players take command of the major powers of Europe during the 1805–1815 wars, either pushing French expansion or organizing coalitions to stop it. The game uses card-driven, point-to-point movement and a diplomatic track to trigger alliances, naval actions, and reinforcements. Players allocate corps and fleets, contest key regions, play battle cards, and resolve combat with dice to inflict casualties and test maneuvers. Strategic choices hinge on leadership, central position, sea power, and shifting diplomacy as minor states are courted or remain neutral. Games play in an evening and emphasize tense decision-making under changing threats and chance.
