Thunderbolt: Deluxe Edition

A three-volume wargame covering the wars of the ancient Mediterranean, centered on the 2nd Punic War between Rome and Carthage and accompanied by earlier conflicts in Italy, Sicily and North Africa. Players command armies, fleets and political resources across large hex maps, moving counters, resolving battles and managing manpower, alliances and city occupations over multiple game turns and scenarios. The deluxe package bundles revised exclusive rules and scenario booklets for each volume, extensive player aids and displays, and a large complement of maps and counters to support tactical and operational campaigns from the Samnite Wars through the Punic Wars.
