Tide World of Mani

A science-fiction horror sandbox set on Mani, a tidally locked ocean world where society survives around the Last Atoll, the planet’s only significant land. The settlement is ruled by hereditary Land Barons, while floating shanty towns house the dispossessed and a crashed colony ship serves as a palace. Corporate extraction, religious schism, and nomadic piracy push Mani toward rebellion. Players navigate the unrest by choosing sides or operating between them, taking on jobs such as hijacking hover trains, smuggling weapons, raiding corporate compounds, worshipping in an undersea grotto, or breaking into a salt prison. The setting can also be adapted for other science-fiction roleplaying systems.
