Traveller: The New Era

Set several thousand years in the future, the game takes place in a region of space where humanity has settled thousands of worlds and encountered numerous alien species. Seventy years after greed and poor decisions destroy the established civilization, small groups begin returning to the stars. Players portray people who leave the safety of settled worlds to explore dangerous, fragmented systems. Using a roleplaying system based on GDW’s House System, they survive hazardous travel, confront the remnants of the old order, and take actions that can influence the future of human space.
