Players take on the roles of investigators from an arcane academy who climb a mist-shrouded mountain to track a missing research party after a meteorite impact. The game presents an evolving exploration of the mountain and its surrounding forest, where supernatural phenomena and hazards appear as the group advances. Gameplay alternates between cooperative decision-making and risk management: players move along routes, search locations, resolve encounters, gather clues and resources, and manage stress or injuries. Events and revelations escalate over time, forcing choices about how far to press the search and how to keep the party intact.
