A beloved elder has been kidnapped and the village hires a band of adventurers to bring him back. The rescue mission takes place in a forest bisected by a river that becomes the only reliable constant amid growing mysteries. Players explore the woods, follow and use the river's course, and investigate clues while confronting obstacles and hostile forces. Actions focus on movement, resource management, and tactical choices as the party navigates terrain, cross or control river sections, and uncover secrets that shape the outcome of the rescue.
