Uncommon Valor

This historical wargame depicts the battle for Motoyama Airfield No. 2 during the Battle of Iwo Jima. Players command American and Japanese forces using infantry, heavy artillery, and flame-throwing “Zippo” Sherman tanks in eight scenarios or a campaign game. Special rules represent the contested airfield and the conditions of the fighting on the island.
