Players face fortified locations and assemble siege engines and crews to attack or defend medieval castles. Gameplay revolves around placing and moving units such as siege towers, trebuchets, and sappers, deploying cards or tokens to build fortifications, batter walls, or dig undermines. Players manage limited resources and spatial positioning to break defenses or shore up walls, resolving combat and engineering effects through tactical choices. Rounds alternate between construction, movement, and assaults as players adapt to changing fortifications and opponent actions. The focus is on planning, area control, and coordinated use of specialized units to overcome or maintain castle defenses.
