A tabletop miniatures game of battles between Space Marines, Orks and other forces in the far future. Players assemble small armies, deploy them across a battlefield, and use movement, shooting, close combat, vehicles and specialised wargear to complete scenario objectives. The set includes rules and background books, army lists, mission cards, cardboard terrain, templates and reference aids, along with miniatures and vehicle datafaxes for Space Marines, Orks and Gretchin. Games use detailed combat rules and are played on a smaller scale than later editions.
