Players build a continuous group of ten of their pieces—fish and sharks—while using sharks to remove opposing fish. Each turn a player either places two fish on adjacent empty spaces or places one shark. Sharks come in two sizes and must eat at least one adjacent opponent fish when placed; small sharks eat along one mouth, large sharks along two. Sharks may be placed directly on an opponent fish (also consuming nearby fish). Eaten fish return to their owners for later placement. The first player to form a connected group of ten pieces wins; if a player cannot move, the largest group wins with sharks as a tiebreaker.
