A bleak settlement in the Broken Mountains stands atop a confluence of ley lines, marked by an ancient stone circle, runes, and onyx pillars containing powers hidden by gods and mortals. Though wealthy spellcasters visit as pilgrims and tourists, the citizens of Y’taris profit from their arrival through food, shelter, entertainment, and expensive curiosities. Merchants, pickpockets, and scam artists compete for the visitors’ gold, making the town a haven for anyone willing to pay—and a dangerous place for those who cannot.
