ZatchBell!

Every one thousand years, one hundred Mamodos descend upon Earth to compete for the title of King of the Mamodo World. Each Mamodo needs a human partner to read its spell book and cast spells, while destroying an opponent’s book removes that Mamodo from the tournament. Players develop their Mamodo’s spell book through training and personal revelations, beginning with a single basic spell and gaining additional powers as the battle progresses.
