A Very Civil Whist

The First English Civil War as a game of whist. Players take the roles of Royalists or Parliamentarians, using leaders and assets representing key figures and forces from the conflict. Based on German Whist, the game combines trick-taking play with strategic decisions and elements of luck as factions compete for political, economic, and religious control of England.
