The Incredibles: Save the Day Game

Els jugadors assumeixen els papers de la família Parr mentre protegeixen Metroville d’una sèrie de problemes. Es revelen tres cartes de problema, i les zones retallades del tauler mostren si cadascun requereix velocitat, agilitat, defensa o força. A cada torn, els jugadors tiren els daus per moure’s, revelen cartes quan apareix l’alarma i s’enfronten a nous problemes, obstacles o l’ajuda de Frozone i Edna Mode. Els jugadors tiren els daus per utilitzar l’habilitat requerida i resoldre els problemes, mentre també controlen Jack-Jack, que es teletransporta per tota la ciutat. El grup perd si un problema no resolt arriba al final del recorregut, i guanya si resol tots els problemes mentre Jack-Jack és sa i estalvi amb la família.

My two 5 year olds had a fantastic time with this game. You run around the city board doing a roll-and move thing, but at least you have multiple paths to choose from, and at times paths will close off. When you arrive at a trouble spot you roll your die, or maybe the 'jack jack' die if anyone has managed to get his special die off the board, and hope to get a matching symbol to clear the disaster tile. Each character has a particular die that's better at one type of symbol. You win if you clear all the disasters before they push off the conveyor belt at the bottom of the board. The only thing I'd like to see improved is to have some sort of epic final confrontation, because the game does end with a whimper. ★ Art, Iconography and components functional ★ Clever or interesting mechanisms ★ Reasonably low downtime between turns with mildly AP players ☆ Multiple plays stay interesting ☆ Low or mitigatable luck elements ★★★☆☆ Raw enjoyment
