Players each receive an unbuilt wonder and race to complete its stages while developing a city across several rounds. On each turn players gather resources, play building cards for civil, scientific, commercial, or military effects, and manage conflicts with neighbors. Progress on wonder stages grants immediate benefits and endgame points, and games end when a player finishes their final stage or after the draft deck is exhausted. The game emphasizes resource management, tableau building, and timing rather than pure speed; military and science tracks, plus civic structures, all contribute to final scoring.

Brutal8,0 More streamline version of 7 Wonders targeted to familiar audiences and one of the best fillers for 7 people. Fast, easy to learn and it has a minimal strategy layer enough for 20min of gameplay.
beqs the 1st5,0 A nice even lighter adaptation of 7Wonders. Very simple gameplay and it does look really good on the table. Should work really fine with kids and casual gamers. Not for me due to lack of decisionmaking.

When does the game end?
The game ends once one player has finished constructing their Wonder — the game is over at the end of that player's turn (page 1).
How do I calculate my final score?
Add up Victory points from your constructed Wonder stages, the Cat pawn if you have it, your Blue cards, Military Victory tokens, and Progress tokens; highest score wins, with ties broken by number of constructed stages (page 1).
How do Progress tokens get set up and what do they do?
Shuffle the Progress tokens, place the stack face down and reveal the top 3 faceup next to it (page 2); each token has a specific effect (extra card choices, endgame points, resource/ military bonuses, etc.) listed in the token effects summary (page 1).
If my Wonder effect says I can take the top card from a deck, where does that card go?
Whenever a Wonder effect lets you take a top card (examples: Alexandria, Ephesus, Halicarnassus, Olympia), you place the taken card in front of you (page 1).
How many Conflict tokens do we put out during setup?
Consult the setup table: for 2–3 players use 3 Conflict tokens, for 4 players use 4, for 5 players use 5, and for 6–7 players use 6 (place them Peace side up) (page 2).
What's different about resolving Battles in a 2‑player game?
In 2‑player games, if you have more Shields than your opponent you take 1 Military Victory token, but if you have at least twice as many Shields you take 2 Military Victory tokens instead (page 1).
