A tactical-level board wargame that recreates armored combat in the North African theater, 1940–1943. Players command German, British and Italian forces using counters, AFV cards and terrain overlays on largely open desert maps to simulate engagements from the 1940 campaign through Gazala, El Alamein and actions in Tunisia. Gameplay uses the Advanced Tactical System: turn-based tactical procedures, vehicle-specific cards, critical-hit mechanics and scenario-driven setups. The base box supplies two map sections, play aids, a rulebook, a quick-start sheet and 24 scenarios; numerous expansions add additional scenarios, counters, AFV cards and overlays to cover campaigns and battles across the full North Africa campaign.
