Ardennes '44: The Battle of the Bulge

A regimental-level hex-and-counter simulation of the Ardennes campaign in December 1944. Players command German and American forces across a detailed map covering the area from the Our to the Meuse, resolving combat, movement, weather effects, night turns, air supply, and river crossings on a 12-hour-per-turn scale. Units represent regiments (with battalions for tanks and some infantry) and include specialized formations such as parachute and ad hoc panzer brigades; corps-level artillery, tank destroyers, traffic jams, roadblocks, and bridge demolition/construction are modeled. Scenarios span the main offensive from December 16–26 plus shorter one-map engagements, supporting one- or two-player play with campaign-level operational choices for both attackers and defenders.
