Roads to Moscow: Battles of Mozhaysk and Mtsensk, 1941

A two-player operational wargame simulating the October 1941 fights around Mozhaysk and Mtsensk during the German drive on Moscow. Players command German and Soviet formations at company-to-division scale across two separate maps, resolving combat, movement and overruns on 12-hour turns across ~1.2–1.4 km hexes. Activation uses a chit-draw system for formation activations; play emphasizes mobile operations with motorized units, combined-arms attacks, and movement of reserves.
