Cinque Terre

Harvest and deliver valuable produce to the five coastal villages of Liguria. Manage produce cards, move a cart between villages, and deliver cubes to fulfill orders. Earn Lire by selling desirable produce, completing public and private orders, and becoming the most popular vendor in each village. Unfulfilled private orders count against the final score.

This is a really nice looking pickup and deliver game that's unfortunately all about the luck of the card flip. Players drive their truck pieces in clockwise circles around the board, and draw cards that allow them to gather fruits or fill orders. As you make deliveries, you put markers down next to that town on your board. Having markers that match in color and location on your score cards is what makes them generate you points, which means if you draw cards that have similar requirements, you have a huge advantage. Disappointing.

Really enjoyed the speed at which this plays and the interlocking mechanics. Feels like it will play different each time. Theme isn't hugely there but it allows the mechanics to shine through. Not the deepest game, but enough to keep me interested.
